There are moments in life where you need a trusted friend. Letting you know when you have something caught in your teeth, when your pants are unzipped, when you have an unusual extra head growing out of your back that you can’t see in the mirror. Cherish and trust your friends people.
PS title credits go to The Deem, who on discussion of this post said, “You always need someone to give you a little heads up.” Pun not intended, but oh yes, it was accepted.
jantzie: the kids don’t get to rock out like they used to, funky style
ben-jamin: have I ever said no to that
jantzie: that is one of my all-time favorite songs
ben-jamin: hehe
ben-jamin: I love the kid with the fro
ben-jamin: rocking out behind him
jantzie: yes
jantzie: that is the day when men could be men in giant hairdos
ben-jamin: I forgot how cool Stevie was
jantzie: so cool
jantzie: such a BA
ben-jamin: I think he started the whole sunglasses indoors movement
ben-jamin: that was caried on by BA’s everywhere
ben-jamin: and later stoners…
jantzie: hehe
jantzie: yes
jantzie: there is a fine line between BAs and DBs
ben-jamin: hehe.
ben-jamin: but if you can go on Sesame street to perform, you’re definitely in the BA category
jantzie: totally
jantzie: and for about 7 minutes!
jantzie: do the kids have such attention spans these days?

ben-jamin: then he starts again
jantzie: syke!
jantzie: such a BA he needs two endings
Homer: I guess you might say he’s barking up the wrong Bush.
Homer’s Brain: There it is, Homer. The cleverest thing you’ll ever say and nobody heard it.
Homer: D’oh “The Simpsons” – Two Bad Neighbors (1996)
Fast forward a mere 12 years later and that somebody to hear Homer’s cleverest things could have been twitter. I love my twitter, that special place where I deposit my random tidbits that are either not worthy of an entire blog post or are just general thoughts sent out into the abyss of the internet. It’s the modern day wailing wall, that grand place of ponder and prayer just a quick cable modem connection away.
Through twitter I recently amassed a few amusing alternate titles for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Amusing just to me, most likely. They are as follows:
Indiana Jones and The Golden Medical Alert Bracelet
Indiana Jones and the Twittering Zombies
Indiana Jones and Search for One-Eyed Willie’s Treasure
Indiana Jones and The Mystery of The Countrified Quincy
Indiana Jones and the Jonesing Indianas
Indiana Jones and The Missing Nazis
Indiana Jones and The Search for The Early Bird Special
Indiana Jones and The Case of The Mysterious Crabs
